Optional Toppings: shredded cheese, sliced jalapenos, caramelized onions, mustard, ketchup, mayo, pickles
Instructions
Tightly wrap one slice of bacon around each hot dog in a spiral motion, overlapping slightly.
Secure the ends with toothpicks if needed to hold the bacon in place.
Place the wrapped hot dogs seam-side down in a non-stick or cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Cook for 10–12 minutes, rotating until the bacon is browned and crispy on all sides. Check the tips section to find different cooking methods.
While the hot dogs are cooking, lightly butter the buns and toast them on a skillet or grill until golden.
Place each bacon-wrapped hot dog in a toasted bun and add your favorite toppings. We chose ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles.
