Greek Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 lb ground turkey
  • 1/3 heaping cup black olives, finely chopped
  • 2 large handfuls baby spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped roasted red pepper
  • 1 T minced dill
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • sliced tomatoes optional
  • sliced cucumbers optional
  • lettuce optional
  • feta cheese (could also mix 1/3 cup into the patties!)
  • Tzatziki sauce optional
  • sliced red onion optional
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Heat a large nonstick fry pan with 1 tbsp oil, over Medium High heat.
  3. Once oil is hot, shape mixture into 5 patties (should be packed decently tight to ensure they stay together) immediately add patties to pan.
  4. Cook patties 5 minutes per side or until center reaches 165F.
  5. Assemble burgers and enjoy!
