Whether you're studying the farm or just want to create your own barn, this paper barn farm craft is perfect for keeping preschoolers engaged!

  • Colorful construction or scrapbooking paper
  • Black cardstock
  • Red cardstock
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Pen
  • Ruler
  • Printable template
  1. Print out the template and cut apart the pieces.

  2. Trace the template pieces on the construction or scrapbooking paper.

  3. Glue the white rectangular piece on top of the red rectangular piece for the chimney.

  4. Glue the black window panes onto the white window pieces.

  5. Glue the small white circle to the door for the doorknob.

  6. Make an X with the two white strips and glue them over the larger window.

  7. Glue the two pointy black roof pieces on each side of the house.

  8. Take the two rectangular black strips and flue them to the top of the house like an upside down V.

  9. Take the bigger window and glue it to the top middle of the house below the roof.

  10. Glue the door below the window.

  11. Take the smaller windows and glue them on either side of the door.

  12. Finish off the barn by gluing the chimney on the right top corner.

  13. Now cut out the pieces for the windmill.

  14. Glue one of the blades to the fan diagonally on top of the long black strip.

  15. Glue the other blade of the fan over the previous one to create an "X" shape.

  16. Finish off the windmill by gluing a square red piece in the middle of both blades.
