I loved your reply! Yes, I thought I would be fun too! But my adult seriousness didn’t automatically translate into kid fun. I have 3 kids and it takes a lot of energy to keep us all where we are supposed to be. My oldest is getting ready for her last year of high school and my younger kids are 4 and 6. I think the oldest child got “fun mom” before I let myself get so focused on the business of running a family (and a business). Realizing how fast 17 years have gone by is inspiring me to find my fun mom self again for the little girls too. Maybe we can encourage each other along the way!

And I wish mnd luck. I have five kids. I was one naturally fun and loved living a bit on the edge. I totally thought I would be fun. I so hope I will manage to make a change. Like you say, saying and doing it are two completely different things!! The sad part for me, is my house is a mess!! So this lack of been being a fun mom is good for nothing! At least my house should be more in order, or I should be more fun already!! With this huge mess around me /chaos!! Preferably the last poker one, fun mom. (Or both, preferably).
