Bread pudding was never something I found particularly appealing and it was all in the name...I don't know why but it just did nothing for me. My poor daughter professed to loving it (from some better mom who made some for her I guess) but I still shied away. And then I was asked to review a cookbook and the bread pudding was made with bourbon and well...you know I went that direction right? It was amazing and I was hooked.

Now I have to make up for years of my bread pudding wasteland...and this one sounds so perfect. I like pumpkin but add maple? LOVE!

This bread pudding has me swooning - and I vote for having it at brunch and dinner too. The topping alone would make me a very happy woman. But of course, I'm not turning down the pumpkin filling:)
